Confined Space Rescue
The Confined Space Rescue Training courses teach students about confined space awareness, how to identify existing and potential confined space hazards, as well as methods to control and eliminate those hazards
By: Safety LMS | Format: In Person | Duration: 8 hours | Language: EnglishDescription
The confined space rescue training teaches about the responsibilities of workers in confined spaces, the classification of these spaces, entry planning, as well as emergency and rescue plans.
These are the necessary skills needed when working in an environment that has a confined space. A thorough understanding and successful completion of the rescue training program can help you control hazards and perform rescue systems in case of emergency.
A prerequisite for this course is confined space entry training. This confined space training is meant to provide a worker with the knowledge needed to properly identify potential confined spaces and ensure that proper safety training, entry/exit plan, and on-site rescue procedures are in place.
Working in a location with these dangerous spaces can be done, in a safe way, but can be dangerous if proper maintenance procedures are not followed and adequate safety training is not conducted.
Employers need to properly identify and assess the spaces and ensure that proper safety training and entry and exit plans are in place for all their workers.
This Confined Space Rescue Training covers the necessary components to conduct rescues safely and efficiently while following legislative requirements.
The confined space rescue course will provide the student with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to complete a confined space rescue in case of emergency.
It is a fact that Confined Space Rescuers have had more fatal injuries than actual entrants, so navigating dangerous areas is essential for everyone's safety.
We have 8-hour confined space rescue courses to 40-hour courses available in our classroom to suit your construction or work site requirements.
